Arlo Guthrie’s Amazing Grace

Just as the rain ceased and the crowd settled in for the evening, Arlo Guthrie started his concert. Even though it was midnight, the crowd’s attention and enthusiasm were unaffected. Sleep was the furthest thing from many people’s minds on the first day of Woodstock.

Arlo Guthrie was raised in a creative environment because he was the son of the famed folk musician Woody Guthrie and a relatively well-known mother.
