Woodstock Festival Photos from 1969: From Eccentric Spectators to Spellbinding Performances from Iconic Singers

Creedence Clearwater Revival With Bad Moon Rising

The 1970 movie about Woodstock omitted Creedence Clearwater Revival’s performance recordings at their request. They faded into obscurity as a result of this choice, at least in the chronicles of Woodstock. Many people don’t even know that they were one of the many acts that played at the event.

They performed for almost one hour, and one of the festival’s major highlights was their infectious music. During this time, they sang some of their most well-known songs for the crowd, such as “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising,” and “Green River.” Woodstock failed their expectations despite being one of the most popular bands at the time.
