John Sebastian’s Impromptu Performance

You know what? J again, here! Although John Sebastian was known for his singing, he wasn’t supposed to appear at Woodstock. There was a delay in the music between Santana’s set and the following act, though. Sebastian had to leave his position as a bystander in order to rouse the mob.

So there he is, playing an impromptu set for the enthusiastic crowd while wearing his bright jacket and leggings that he had personally tie-dyed. “I Had A Dream,” “Darling Be Home Soon,” and “Younger Generation,” which Sebastian dedicated to a newborn infant at the festival, was among the songs he performed.
