This Well-Meaning Waitress Was Shocked at How a Homeless Man Turned the Tables for Her
One Good Deed Deserves Another
Suddenly, she saw the man she had helped, tucked into his usual corner. Cindy wanted to talk to someone. She knew the man was always looking for someone to converse with, too, so she sat by him. He guessed by her face that something was not right.
On his persistent inquiry, Cindy finally opened up to him. The man was enraged at her dismissal since, according to him, firing her was a loss to the culinary world. He decided to help his benefactress and wanted to talk to the restaurant’s owner. Although Cindy was touched and happy that the man was so sympathetic, she knew he could do nothing.
