This Well-Meaning Waitress Was Shocked at How a Homeless Man Turned the Tables for Her
No One Was There To Help Her
Perhaps the worst was she would no longer be able to pay rent. Ironically, she would end up just like the homeless guy she had been trying to help. Cindy tried to recall if there was someone who would help her through this rough patch. She could not think of anyone she could tell the truth to without potentially exposing herself to judgment and further humiliation.
The next day, she went for a walk to dilute her stress. On passing the restaurant, her heart filled with grief and regret. She had only wanted to do good but did so in the wrong way.
