“Les gens peuvent être plein de jugement”
Chez Fang’s Pizza, Jackie-Johnson Smith, son mari et ses deux autres garçons avaient déjà commencé à manger leur pizza chinoise. Cependant, son plus jeune fils restait affamé et pleurait à table. Ainsi, Jackie-Johnson Smith n’avait pas d’autre choix que de se couvrir et de commencer à allaiter son petit garçon dans le restaurant pendant qu’elle mangeait.
“Je n’aime généralement pas allaiter en public parce que les gens peuvent être pleins de jugement”, se souvient Jackie-Johnson Smith. “J’ai essayé de l’occuper avec différents jouets, mais il ne se calmait pas. Alors j’ai décidé de l’allaiter. J’ai pris une couverture dans mon sac à couches, je l’ai jetée dessus et j’ai commencé à l’allaiter dans la banquette.”
