Looking at the number of quality performances and the long list of accolades Ian McKellen has under his belt, we can proudly say that he is the epitome of performing arts. Starting his career with stage in 1961, this seven-time Laurence Olivier Award actor got his initial recognition with the sitcom ‘David Copperfield’ in 1966, followed by movies like ‘A Touch of Love.’
Nevertheless, despite his endless acting projects, his performance as Gandalf in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ made him one of the most lovable actors throughout the world. Thankfully, even in his 80s, by working in ‘Infinitum: Subject Unknown’ in 2021 he showed that his love for drama is still unhindered, and we salute his dedication.
