Mary Nightingale – Scarborough, 59

Born in Scarborough, the English journalist/TV host Mary Nightingale started her career in the early ’90s, working in a BBC One show called “Carlton Country.” After that, she joined ITV and quickly became one of the main newscasters on that network. In 2001, she was promoted to “ITV Evening News” after hosting a few non-primetime shows, such as “The Really Good Food Show.”

Now an icon of the small screen in the United Kingdom, Nightingale is one of the most respected news anchors in the nation and continues to work for ITV. In 2022, she was featured as herself in “Honouring Her Majesty: A Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.”
