Now, if we talk about accolades, Hogan is pretty laden in that department too, with a ‘Golden Globe Award’ in the comedy category for his classic exhibit of expertise in ‘Crocodile Dundee.’ Besides, for someone who won the ‘Australian of the Year’ title in 1985, it is only understandable why the line of his upcoming projects seldom dries up.

Neil Morrissey – Stafford, 60

With more than 100 acting credits, the English actor Neil Morrissey has already done it all. But that’s no reason to stop wowing British viewers with convincing performance after convincing performance. It’s hard to name just a few of his best projects, but he’s arguably best known for his work in the sitcom “Men Behaving Badly,” the drama “Waterloo Road,” and the police procedural series “Line of Duty.”

In recent years, Morrissey has been as busy as usual. The Stafford native portrayed ‘Frank’ in “The Syndicate,” appeared as ‘Christopher Reasley’ in “The Long Call,” and starred in “The Good Karma Hospital” as ‘Greg McConnell.’

John Stapleton – Oldham, 76

The English journalist John Stapleton started his career by working as a Daily Sketch staff reporter. Later, he began writing scripts for the documentary series “This Is Your Life,” the first of the many TV projects in which he was involved throughout his long career, which is still going strong! He appeared most recently in “Lorraine” as a guest star.

Sadly, Stapleton lost his wife and former co-host Lynn Faulds Wood in 2020. The two lovebirds rose to fame for presenting the British consumer program “Watchdog.” Stapleton and his late wife had presented the now-extinct show between 1986 and 1993.

Mary Nightingale – Scarborough, 59

Born in Scarborough, the English journalist/TV host Mary Nightingale started her career in the early ’90s, working in a BBC One show called “Carlton Country.” After that, she joined ITV and quickly became one of the main newscasters on that network. In 2001, she was promoted to “ITV Evening News” after hosting a few non-primetime shows, such as “The Really Good Food Show.”

Now an icon of the small screen in the United Kingdom, Nightingale is one of the most respected news anchors in the nation and continues to work for ITV. In 2022, she was featured as herself in “Honouring Her Majesty: A Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.”
