Touching in Anderson’s legacy, her role ‘WKRP in Cincinnati’ created a much-needed stir, leading to endless offers and three ‘Golden Globe’ nominations coming her way. Truly, her retirement will mark the conclusion of an era that gave us ‘Easy Street, ‘Nurses,’ and ‘The Mullets.’ Then again, her ever-busy schedule hints her retreat from the industry is pretty far to come.
