Durch Sönke Wortmanns Film “Das Superweib“ 1996 wurde Veronica Ferres einem großen Publikum bekannt, vor allem in Deutschland. 2002 erhielt sie den Grimme-Preis für ihre Rolle in “Die Manns – Ein Jahrhundertroman“. Ihre Karriere erstreckt sich seitdem sowohl national als auch international.
Obwohl ihre Bewerbung für eine Schauspielausbildung zunächst abgelehnt wurde, gab Veronica nie auf und schaffte schließlich den Durchbruch. Sie investiert viel in ihr Styling und ihre Fitness, was sich auszahlt – selbst ohne Make-up sieht sie großartig aus. Ihr Ehemann Carsten Maschmeyer dürfte das sicherlich genauso sehen. Die schöne Blondine ist eine beeindruckende Persönlichkeit, die durch Talent und Entschlossenheit glänzt und die kaum Make-up braucht, um aufzufallen.
