Der deutsche Modedesigner und Unternehmer Harald Glööckler ist bekannt für seine extravaganten, strassbesetzten Kreationen. Sein Markenzeichen, das Kronenmotiv mit dem Schriftzug “POMPÖÖS“, steht für seine unverwechselbare und glitzernde Mode. Harald hat sich einen Namen gemacht, indem er die Grenzen des Gewöhnlichen sprengte.
Sein auffälliges Aussehen und intensives Make-up sind umstritten, doch viele respektieren seinen Mut, traditionelle Geschlechterrollen in der Mode zu hinterfragen. 2004 posierte er nackt für PETA mit dem Slogan “Tiere tragen Pelz, Menschen tragen Mode.“ Der gebürtige Baden-Württemberger sieht sich auch als Inspiration für Sacha Baron Cohens Figur in “Brüno“. Ganz ohne Make-up bekommt man Harald eigentlich nie zu Gesicht, denn das ist einfach nicht sein Stil.
