Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, besser bekannt als Adele, ist eine britische Pop-, Soul-, Jazz- und R&B-Sängerin und Songwriterin. Mit mehr als 100 Millionen verkauften Platten ist die Oscar-, Golden Globe- und Grammy-Gewinnerin eine der erfolgreichsten Sängerinnen des 21. Jahrhunderts.
Vor vielen Jahren überraschte sie ihre Fans bei einem BBC-Adele-Imitatoren-Wettbewerb, wo sie unerkannt als eine der Imitatorinnen auftrat.
