Veteran American actress Cassandra Peterson, aka Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, is still alive and haunting our hearts, thanks to her character’s love of all things spooky. She’s also a trailblazer, breaking barriers for women in the horror genre and paving the way for future scream queens.
