When Dopson applied to be a sanitation worker and started driving through the neighborhoods, he had no idea he would impact their life as much as they did his. He entered the job intending to provide for his family and hoping to touch other people’s lives through his kindness.
After all these years, their video is still being watched by millions of people. The simplicity and the genuineness of the moment had made a long way. So much has changed since that “cupcake day,” but Dopson still gratefully revisits and reflects that special moment.
