From his truck, Dopson saw Brooklyn and her mother. As he was about to wave and honk just like usual, he noticed that today was different. When he drove closer, he realized they wanted him to stop and come out, so he did.
He walked out of the truck toward Brooklyn and was surprised by the little girl’s gesture. With a shy smile, she gave him some cupcakes while her mother explained that it was her birthday the day before, and they wished he could have been there.
