Mika ou Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr de son vrai nom est en couple avec Andreas Dermanis, qu’il surnomme simplement Andy, depuis maintenant quelques années. Mika est connu du public pour ses nombreux tubes à l’exemple de « Relax, Take it Easy » tandis qu’Andreas est réalisateur.
Mika présente Andreas comme quelqu’un de très simple et fidèle à ses habitudes. Andreas a ainsi éprouvé des difficultés à accepter Mika dans sa vie, et ils se sont même séparés pendant un temps. Ils ont fini par se réconcilier et forment aujourd’hui un couple solidaire en public comme en privé.
