Ihr wundert euch vielleicht, dass Smith wirklich glaubt, dass das Stillen ihr Leben und das Leben ihrer Kinder verändert hat. Indem sie ihren Kindern nur Muttermilch gibt, versorgt Smith sie mit allen notwendigen Nährstoffen und Mineralien. Smith verwendet auch Stoffwindeln und sagt, dass sie es bevorzugt, „zurück zu den Grundlagen“ zu gehen, während sie gleichzeitig umweltfreundlicher ist.
„Stillen ist nicht schwarz und weiß. Aber jede Mutter, ob sie arbeitet oder zu Hause bleibt, stillt oder Flaschennahrung gibt, weiß, was das Beste für ihre Familie und Kinder ist. Und jede Mutter sollte einfach darauf vertrauen“, sagte Smith.
