The police took note of the make, model and license plate of the car and reassured Jonathan that they would get to work immediately. He thanked him and hung up but in fact he was still stuck there. If he, too, had started the complaint about the car with a single call and in that respect he was fine, how would he now organize himself with a lot of puppy in tow to reach the inhabited center again? He risked staying there for a long time, probably under the water and with a puppy that had to be examined by a good vet. The premises were certainly not the best.
