PIETER OMTZIGT (48) – 1,2 MILJOEN EURO
Als student economie en statistiek wist Pieter al dat hij later zijn carrière zou uitbouwen in de politiek. Hij studeerde onder andere in Engeland en Italië en kon zich vinden in het gedachtengoed van CDA. Hij bleef wat in de achterhoede, maar moest onverwacht aantreden toen zijn collega’s in de regering werden opgenomen bij premier Balkenende. Dat was een meevaller en zijn zetel in de Tweede Kamer was een feit. Helaas bleef dit niet duren en het kwam tot een breuk tussen Omtzigt en zijn partij. Hij besloot daarom enige tijd geleden om als onafhankelijk lid te zetelen. Zo is hij zeker van een blijvend inkomen en kan hij zijn vermogen van iets meer dan 1 miljoen euro nog laten aangroeien.
