PAUL VERHOEVEN (84) – EUR 20 MILLION
After a somewhat bumpy start to his career, in which Paul Verhoeven had to put his dreams aside for a while due to the unwanted pregnancy of his girlfriend and only later could work on his career again, he made an impression with his Floris series. He only became a furore with Turks Fruit and a few years later he was also able to gain international name and fame with his direction of Robocop. This was followed by toppers such as Total Recall, Basic Instinct and Starship Troopers, which grew into true blockbusters. In the meantime, his curriculum is almost thirty films long and he can gradually start thinking about his well-deserved retirement with a nice piggy bank of about twenty million euros.
