PAUL VERHOEVEN (84) – 20 MILJOEN EURO
Na een wat hobbelig begin van zijn loopbaan, waarbij Paul Verhoeven door de ongewenste zwangerschap van zijn vriendin even zijn dromen moest opbergen en later pas opnieuw aan zijn carrière kon werken, maakte hij indruk met zijn serie Floris. Met Turks Fruit maakte hij pas helemaal furore en enkele jaren later kon hij ook internationaal naam en faam verwerven met zijn regie van Robocop. Daarna volgden nog toppers als Total Recall, Basic Instinct en Starship Troopers die uitgroeiden tot ware blockbusters. Ondertussen is zijn curriculum bijna dertig films lang en kan hij met een mooi spaarpotje van zo’n twintig miljoen euro stilaan aan zijn welverdiende pensioen beginnen denken.
