DIEGO MELITO & ANA SOFIA MELITO – 15 JAAR GETROUWD
Tientallen jaren geleden waren er twee nationaliteiten die het topvoetbal domineerden. Dat waren enerzijds de Brazilianen, maar anderzijds ook de Argentijnen. Diego Melito behoort tot die laatste groep. Met roots in Italië en Spanje, combineerde het beste voetbal van twee werelddelen. Hij was gekend als spits bij onder andere Genoa, Inter Milan, Racing Club en Zaragoza en tijdens zijn verblijf in Spanje stapte hij met zijn vriendin Ana Sofia naar het altaar. Het koppel deed dat in alle bescheidenheid en mocht ondertussen ook drie kinderen in hun gezin verwelkomen. Nu zijn spelersloopbaan voorbij is en hij koos voor een job als sportmanager, is de mediastorm rond zijn persoon al enige tijd gaan liggen.
