De Prachtige Vriendinnen en Vrouwen van Sporters
PIETER VAN DEN HOOGENBAND & MARIE-JOSÉ CROOIJMANS – 6 JAAR GETROUWD
Slechts weinig sporters kunnen hetzelfde zeggen als Pieter van den Hoogenband. Hij is namelijk een voormalig wereldkampioen zwemmen, maar ook drievoudig Olympisch kampioen en maar liefst zestien keer ook Europees kampioen. Ondertussen begeleidt hij nieuwe talenten naar de top. In zijn relaties was hij minder succesvol helaas. Zijn huwelijk met Minouche Smit liep op de klippen na een nogal tumultueuze periode en daaronder hadden zijn zoon en dochter ook heel wat te lijden. In 2014 leerde hij echter Marie-José Crooijmans kende en verloor hij zijn hart aan haar. Twee jaar later gaven ze elkaar het ja-woord en gingen ze als man en vrouw door het leven.
