JOHAN NEESKENS & MARLIS VON REDING – 37 JAAR GETROUWD
De hoogdagen van het voetbal voor Johan Neeskens, dateren al van begin de jaren negentig voor het laatst. Daarna ging hij wel als trainer aan de slag, maar het succes van weleer kon hij niet meer evenaren. Nog verder terug in de tijd, stapte hij in 1975 met Marianne Schiphof in het huwelijk, maar die verbintenis werd in 1979 ontbonden. Hij leerde echter in Zwitserland Marlis van Reding kennen en viel voor haar charmes. In 1985 schoven ze elkaar een ring om de vinger en zetten ze wat later samen zijn non-profit organisatie op voor kinderen met een handicap en chronische aandoening. Na 37 jaar huwelijk blikken ze samen met hun kinderen terug op een geslaagde relatie.
