Wie denkt dat Ronald Koeman als voetbalspeler al heel wat had gepresteerd, heeft vast zijn curriculum als trainer nog niet bekeken. Daar haalde hij zo mogelijk nog heel wat meer uit de kast en hij is nog lang niet aan zijn einde toe, nu hij opnieuw het elftal van Oranje onder zijn vleugels zal nemen. In het begin van zijn carrière, toen hij nog bij Ajax speelde, huwde hij met zijn grote liefde Bartina. Zij staat al zo’n 37 jaar aan de zijlijn als trouwe steun en toeverlaat van de grote Ronald Koeman. Samen genieten ze nog het meest van het familieleven met hun kinderen en kleinkinderen.
