Horses are renowned for being lean and muscular. This is down to all of the running they do. But this animal proves that a horse can also be buff, and he looks more like this little girl’s protector than her ride. Of course, some horses are bred to be bulky.
This was pretty prevalent when horses were used to pull carriages, before the days of cars and buses. Some prominent breeds of the muscular horse include the Shire Horse, Friesian Horse, Clydesdale Horse, and the Dutch Draft Horse among many others. Although they no longer get used for transport, they are still bred.
