Purtroppo è stato un periodo in cui la cantante si è allontanata dal palcoscenico a causa della sua vita sentimentale, evidentemente meno sfavillante della sua carriera. La rottura e il divorzio dal marito Alessandro Carotti hanno provato moltissimo Irene. Dopo anni di sofferenza, finalmente la Grandi ha ripreso in mano la sua vita, tornando a cantare per la gioia dei suoi fan.
