Antonio Catania è il classico uomo del Sud che ha trovato la sua fortuna al Nord. Nativo di Acireale, si trasferi a Milano dove studiò filosofia all’università degli Studi e alla Scuola del Piccolo Teatro dove si diplomò. Attore affermato e apprezzato, il suo ultimo film è uscito nel 2021 Tutti per Ulma, in cui interpreta nonno Attila, patriarca di una famiglia composta da soli uomini. Nella vita privata l’attore è sposato con la collega Rosaria Russo conosciuta sul set de Il Giudice Mastrangelo con Diego Abatantuono. La coppia ha avuto la figlia Alessandra, anche lei attrice. Catania è molto attivo sui social, dove posta foto che condivide generosamente coi suoi fan.
