Alessandra Martines is remembered as the actress who successfully played the fantasy television series Fantaghirò in the 90s which had considerable success. Martines however started out as a classical dancer, debuting at just 15 years old at the Zurich Opera and then landing in New York. Her career as a dancer continued in theaters all over the world, until she arrived in Rome and was noticed by Gianni Boncompagni who chose her for his show Pronto, si gioca? From that moment on, the dancer’s career took off unstoppably, even taking part in Fantastico on Rai 1 with Pippo Baudo and Lorella Cuccarini. Her last television effort in Italy dates back to 2017 where she filmed Il Bello delle Donne, then she took a long break from the spotlight. Alessandra now lives in Paris and dedicates herself mainly to theater.
