This Bear Had A Strange Job At A Hospital That Night

Hana’s heart dropped as the rope jerked, slipping from her grasp. Peter was falling. She scrambled to catch it, but it was too late. His scream echoed from deep within the well, a sound filled with terror. His descent into the well had been swift and terrifying. But as he hit the bottom, something new caught his attention.
Peter shined his flashlight around, and to his horror, dozens of tiny, glowing eyes stared back at him. The creatures in the well weren’t some harmless animals—they were something else. They moved swiftly, skittering in the shadows. Then, the realization hit him. They were the same creatures the bear had been protecting.
