Glück im Unglück
Es war eine Gruppe Touristen, die erstmals auf die verzweifelten Hilferufe des Schiffbrüchigen aufmerksam wurden. Sie hatten ein örtliches Gasthaus besucht, das in der Nähe der Klippe lag, als sie die Schreie aus dem Wasser hörten. Als sie Burgoyne entdeckten, riefen sie sofort die Küstenwache. Der Künstler wurde aus dem Wasser gezogen, und sicher an Land gebracht.
Einen Tag später kehrte die Küstenwache an den Ort des Unglücks zurück, um sich um das Schiffswrack zu kümmern. Nur wenige Überreste konnten gefunden werden, und die Kamera lag längst tief auf dem Meeresgrund.
