浜田雅功＆小川菜摘、結婚31年の歩み
2人が出会ったのは、1987年放送のドラマ『ダウンタウン物語』での共演だった。当時は、ダウンタウンの浜田雅功よりも、小川菜摘のほうが世間的な知名度が高かったとされる。1989年に結婚した小川は年上の妻として、夫の度重なる浮気や、3年に及んだ不倫があった後も関係を断たず、浜田を支え続けた。小川はどんな時も「芸の肥やしになるならいい」と語ってきたといい、浜田もまた、自分と子どもたちを守り続けてくれた妻への感謝は尽きないと話している。
