Die gebürtige Schwabe Gerd Müller interessierte sich schon sehr jung für das Gebiet der Politik, und beschloss somit in den siebziger Jahren der “Jungen Union” beizutreten. Nach ein paar Jahren übernahm er dann sogar dessen Bezirksvorsitz.
Und so wie Gerd Müller es wollte, war er dann in den achtziger und neunziger Jahren als parlamentarischer Geschäftsführer im Europäischen Parlament tätig. Mittlerweile ist er auch schon seit mehr als zwanzig Jahren Mitglied des Deutschen Bundestags. Bis 202 war er sogar der Bundesminister für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung” ernannt. Das Gesamtvermögen des Politikers wird auf satte 1,5 Millionen Euro geschätzt.
