Prinzessin Eugenie steht in der Thronfolge an 12. Stelle, Königin wird sie wohl daher nicht mehr werden. Aber natürlich interessiert sich die Klatschpresse auch für die junge Frau. Dort wurde häufig über ihr Gewicht berichtet und das nicht immer mit netten Worten. Da war gerne von “fetten Beinen” und “Babyspeck” die Rede.
Kein Wunder also, dass Eugenie anscheinend darauf keine Lust mehr gehabt hat. Ihre Hochzeit zu Jack Brooksbank nahm sie dann zum Anlass, abzunehmen. Eugenie begann, auf ihre Ernährung zu achten und trieb schweißtreibenden Sport. So schaffte sie es, sechs Kilos zu verlieren. Als sie dann ihrem Angetrauten das Ja-Wort gab, sah Eugenie in ihrem Hochzeitskleid fantastisch aus.
