Les méduses sont moins innocentes qu’elles n’y paraissent
Toute personne ayant déjà été piquée par une méduse sait qu’elles sont tout sauf inoffensives. Les plongeurs et nageurs expérimentés connaissent trop bien le risque associé aux méduses et préfèrent s’en éloigner. La femme sur la photo semble être sur le point d’apprendre cette leçon à ses dépens.
Ces créatures marines ont souvent de minuscules épines munies de crochets à leurs tentacules, et s’en servent pour injecter du venin à leurs victimes incrédules. Dans les cas les moins graves, la piqûre va juste provoquer une tache rouge et une grande douleur mais peut au pire être fatale à la victime.
