Udo Kier | Schauspieler | geb. 1944 in Köln
Udo Kier ist einer der wenigen deutschen Schauspieler, der den Sprung nach Hollywood geschafft hat. Er hat regelmäßig mit bekannten Regisseuren wie Rainer Werner Fassbinder und Gus Van Sant zusammen gearbeitet. In seinen Rollen hat Udo ein Abo auf das eher Schräge und Seltsame. Vielleicht liegt das auch daran, dass die Karriere des Kölners damit begann, dass er zunächst regelmäßig in Art-House- und Horrorfilmen mitspielte. Insgesamt hat Udo in über 250 Film- und Fernsehformaten mitgewirkt, zu seinen bekanntesten Rollen dürfte Ron Camp aus “Ace Ventura” (1994) zählen. Ein Vollblutschauspieler wie der Kölner steht natürlich heute immer noch vor der Kamera. 2021 kam nämlich “Swan Song” heraus, indem Udo einen gealterten Friseur mimt.
