Tony Marshall | Schlagersänger | geb. 1938 in Baden-Baden
Tony Marshall ist einer der bekanntesten deutschen Schlagerstars, der bürgerlich eigentlich Herbert Anton Bloeth heißt. Auf seiner Homepage wirbt der Sänger damit, dass ihn 98 Prozent der Bundesbürger kennen würden. Tatsächlich hat Marshall eine klassische Musikausbildung genossen: Er bestand sein Examen als Opernsänger 1965. Marshalls Hit “Schöne, Maid” (1971) gehört heute noch zu jeder richtigen Schlagerparty dazu. Später trieb es den Sänger aber auch wieder auf die Opernbühnen. Er sang zum Beispiel 2008 den Papageno in Mozarts beliebten Oper “Die Zauberflöte”. Trotz fortgeschrittenen Alters hat Marshall als Vollblutmusiker bis dato nicht ans Aufhören gedacht. Seine letzte Single “Der letzte Traum” erschien 2021.
