Figure incontournable du PAF depuis les années 70, Jean-Pierre Foucault a démarré chez RMC avant de présenter la cérémonie de Miss France à partir de 1995. Sur TF1, il trouve aussi son public avec Qui veut gagner des millions et Sacrée soirée.
D’après Capital, il touchait 15 000 euros par émission pour Qui veut gagner des millions. Il pouvait aussi empocher jusqu’à 30 000 euros par émission pour les primes festifs, et 35 000 euros pour Miss France. Depuis 2014, il prête son sourire aux tirages du Loto, et gagne 5000 euros par tirage, soit près de 200 000 euros par an. Avec sa société Parasol Productions, ses revenus annuels atteindraient entre 400 000 euros et 800 000 euros.
