Audrey Crespo-Mara a bâti une carrière admirable comme journaliste, entamée dès 1999 au sein de la rédaction de TF1. Pour cette chaîne, elle délivre pendant près de huit ans des reportages politiques, culturels et sociétaux. En 2007, elle rejoint LCI, assure la matinale et développe plusieurs formats, dont Demain à la Une et Parlons-en.
Elle gagne alors en notoriété par son style direct et ses entretiens approfondis. Depuis 2015, elle est le joker des journaux télévisés du week-end sur TF1. Depuis 2020, elle signe chaque semaine le « Portrait de la Semaine » dans Sept à huit, émission phare de la chaîne. Ses activités chez TF1 lui rapporteraient aux alentours de 18 000 euros par mois.
