Bruno Masure a pris ses marques en tant que figure reconnaissable du journal télévisé en France dès les années 80. Cela a commencé avec TF1 en 1984, et c’est un poste qu’il a tenu jusqu’en 1990 avant de travailler pour Antenne 2, l’actuel France 2, jusqu’en 1997 Son analyse aiguë de la politique, en plus de fidéliser le public, lui a déjà valu un 7 d’or.
Après les journaux télévisés, Masure s’est reconverti en chroniqueur, notamment entre 1999 et 2003 avec Vivement dimanche prochain sur France 2. On le retrouve ensuite dans Le Fou du roi sur France Inter jusqu’en 2011. Chez TF1, Bruno Masure gagnait jusqu’à 17 000 euros par mois, contre 10 000 euros mensuels chez France 2.
