The 1982 action-crime classic, “48 Hrs,” starring the actor duo of Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte, was hardly a piece of cinematic artistry from Hollywood, but it was very entertaining! However, this DVD case is a silent comedian in disguise, as the graphic designer seems to have not been paying attention, labeling Eddie as Nick and Nick as Eddie!
The mix-up has turned a serious action-packed drama into a surprise comedy off-screen. Did the graphic designer foresee the humor in this mistake, or was it an innocent mix-up? Either way, the DVD case has become a conversation starter, with the mislabeled personas off-screen making this DVD a unique collector’s item.
