This Bear Had A Strange Job At A Hospital That Night
The Final Rescue
With each creature carefully lifted from the well, Hana’s heart swelled with relief. The small, fragile beings were safe. But there was still the last one—the creature the bear had brought to the hospital earlier. Hana’s mind raced. “The bear can carry this one,” she said, a new sense of hope rising in her chest.
The bear stood nearby, waiting as if it understood. Carefully, Hana placed the last creature into the bear’s mouth, watching as the animal gently closed its jaws, cradling the fragile being with surprising tenderness. The journey wasn’t over yet, but this was a significant step.
