Every step took Hana deeper into the woods. The air grew colder, and a strange sound echoed from the distance. It was a soft buzzing, a distortion that sent chills down her spine. Something wasn’t right. Was it the wind? Or was it something else? The noises grew louder, more unsettling.
Her phone buzzed once more. It was Peter again, but this time, his voice was garbled, making his words impossible to understand. Hana’s heart raced. She pressed on. Whatever was ahead, she had to face it. The bear’s movements didn’t falter. It was as if it knew exactly where it was going.
