George Alagiah and Frances Robathan – 38 Years Together
George Alagiah first met Frances Robathan while pursuing his higher education at Durham University. Yet, we bet he didn’t know then that the gorgeous lady was soon going to be his better half. Finally, in 1984, the sweethearts walked down the aisle in a lovely wedding ceremony and are still greatly in love. George has a hectic schedule, but he never skips hanging out with his wife and their two kids, Adam and Matthew.
For his fabulous broadcasting gigs, the ‘GMT’ presenter received the Order of the British Empire in 2008. Moreover, his debut novel ‘The Burning Land’ also won numerous critical acclaims.
