Steven Gerrard & Alex Curran – 20 Years Together
Steven Gerrard and Alex Curran’s marriage is not a typical one, in the sense that babies came before the wedding. Interestingly also, the former ‘Liverpool’ team captain wooed the model the old-fashioned way—after acquiring his future wife’s number from her friend, Gerrard visited the model at her mother’s house. The current manager of ‘Aston Villa’ proposed to his then-girlfriend after coming home from the hospital with their first-born daughter.
The couple’s engagement lasted for three years and they welcomed another child before tying the knot in 2007. They said their “I dos” in a lavish ceremony at Cliveden House, in Berkshire. The pair has one of the longest-lasting relationships in the football world, being together for two decades.
