Sofia Loren’s contribution to cinema can only be overshadowed by her charming personality. Even then, the two seem to be hand in hand. It’s one thing being an iconic legend but it’s another being one of the last surviving stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Sofia’s acting career began by chance as someone suggested she enroll in acting class while participating in a beauty pageant. Little did the sixteen-year-old Sofia know that this was the turning point of her life. Once the ball set rolling, she crushed numerous roles earning her endless awards and nominations. This cannonball would slow down in the early ’80s as the actress chose to reduce her acting roles.
