Penny Smith – Rutland, 63
If you’re a radio and TV enthusiast, you must have heard of Penny Smith, the presenter who’s all over the British program airwaves. From ‘Sky News’ to ‘BBC Radio’, and currently, an announcer for the classical digital radio, ‘Scala Radio,’ the journalist stays true with her creative expression. Of course, backpacking to South America and Asia was the next best thing.
‘Peterborough Evening Telegraph’ was what started it all for Penny. In the ’80s, she worked as a reporter for current affairs and documentaries for ‘Central Television.’ After that, her extensive career jumped from the evening news to reality contests ‘Just the Two of Us’ to yoga videos. For over 40 years, Smith’s has not intended to leave British frequencies.
