Sometimes you have to start small to go big. Julie Goodyear was just a passing role in the long-running British drama ‘Coronation Street’ before she struck a deal to make Bet Lynch one of the show’s regular members. But, thank the talent and the casting directors, Goodyear’s unforgettable portrayal earned her a Lifetime Achievement Award.
After her 1966 brief appearance in ‘Coronation Street,’ the British actress joined the Repertory Theatre to get some training. By 1970, she was back in the show and stayed for 25 years. When the hit drama ended, she started doing comedy sketches and reality series ‘I’m Famous and Frightened’ and won. With success, the veteran stays true to her small-screen glory.
