Dazzling on the Met Gala red carpet, Yara Shahidi channeled a modern-day supermodel in a custom Jean-Paul Gaultier dress. Her outfit, reminiscent of 90s glam, featured a sleek corset from Gaultier’s 2008 Mermaid collection, paired with a custom pleated skirt boasting exaggerated hips, all in radiant bronze satin.
Styled by Jason Bolden, the JPG corset was a nod to Karl Lagerfeld’s defining corsets. Accentuating her look, Yara wore exquisite diamond jewelry from Cartier, including a necklace and trinity rings. Her makeup, a creation of Dior Beauty, completed the look with a brown ombré lip and arched skinny brow, encapsulating the essence of runway elegance with a modern twist.
